|Proliant is seeking a Transition Specialist to join our team in Glendale, AZ.

The Transitional Specialist is responsible for detailed analyses and accuracy of all aspects on accounts and balancing of payroll wages. The position requires personnel to work closely with Implementation Specialists and Implementation Management, as a team, to ensure the accuracy of all new clients. The Transitional Specialist evaluates compliance standards, system accuracy, and provides audit reports for balancing. The Transition Specialist will also assist in finding solutions for discrepancies as necessary, and be open to sharing and suggesting process or procedure improvements.
Stay current on federal and state payroll laws including minimum wage rates and garnishments.
Excel in Customer Service and payroll knowledge to produce the best client experience.
Responsible for reviewing documentation and comparing to the system to ensure accuracy.
Balance each check date’s wages and tax liabilities as well as to quarterly returns.
Thoroughly review and verify all aspects of the implementation process.
Resolve complex issues regarding federal and state taxable income to ensure it matches client documentation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced environment.
Conduct general payroll and tax research related to compliance as needed.
Assist in establishing systems and procedures to reduce labor, payroll and tax reporting discrepancies.
Work closely with Tax Department to proactively seek any tax discrepancies.
Research System capabilities and changes to effectively audit accounts.
Attend Training to continuously stay abreast of system and industry changes.
Other job duties as assigned.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and its functionality.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Needs to have a firm knowledge of payroll taxes and payroll compliances.
Must be able to prioritize, problem solve, take initiative, maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information.
Proven ability to remain flexible in the face of change and changing priorities.
Excellent analytical and independent thinking skills.
Implementation and tax experience preferred.
Minimum of three years payroll experience.
